Killingworth Kaper Ride

Starting Location:  Small CPL at the intersection (traffic circle) of Rt. 80 & Rt. 81 in Killingworth

 

Ride Description:  This ride circumnavigates the town of Killingworth while making brief sorties into the adjoining towns of Clinton and Madison.  The ride is somewhat hilly, but your uphill work is rewarded with some great downhill runs.  Bring a lunch or a snack since there is no place to purchase it on the ride.  There is a short version of the ride (29.2 miles) as well as a long version (35.7 miles).  Both routes are shown on the route sheet.  The ride is over mostly country roads through rural and wooded countryside.  Consider a fall ridethe foliage is apt to be spectacular.
