Renate's Niantic Center School Ride

 

Total Distance:  30.1 miles                          Elevation Gain:  1322 feet

Starting Location:  Niantic Center School on Rt. 156 (W. Main St.) about 2 miles east of the Rocky Neck Connector (I-95 Exit 72) intersection with Rt. 156

 

Ride Description:  Much of the first portion of the ride is over rolling terrain through a lesser traveled portion of Niantic and features some lake front riding past Pattagansett Lake. Hains Park at the south end of Rogers Lake is a great spot for a lunch or snack break.  During the 2nd half of the ride the route visits Rocky Neck State Park.
