Ride Description:  This is a ride over mostly flat to rolling terrain and has something of interest for everyone.  The route goes down into Stonington Village en route to Stonington Point and its marvelous views of Fishers Island Sound to the southwest and Block Island Sound to the southeast.  The route then heads inland up and past wine country into No. Stonington Village where you might can stop for lunch or a snack at a small recreation area with a pavilion.  After the lunch/snack break (best to bring since places to purchase food on the route are limited) the route heads back toward the ocean and features a lovely ride along the Mystic River before returning to the starting point via a seldom used "back door" route.
