Ride
Description: This ride
travels through parts of Branford sometimes on back roads and sometimes on
state roads with more traffic.
There are two difficult left turns off heavily traveled roads that
will require your full attention (identified on the route sheet). The ride passes beside Lake
Saltonstall (no views) through a forested area, has some views of the salt
marshes adjacent to L. I. Sound and drops down into Stony Creekafter which
it heads over to Branford and a view of Branford Harbor. This ride is best for skilled riders
who are comfortable making difficult turns in sometimes heavy traffic.
