Ride Description:  Rural ride with hills to challenge your cardio status and scenery to soothe your soul.  Ride through Salisbury, Lakeville and Sharon into NY State where youll find mostly farmland and woods.  There is a short section on the Rail Trail into Taconic State Park where you can get a sandwich at the general store.  After lunch the fun begins with a long climb out of the valley and into MA.  The views are spectacular!  The bulk of the climbing is over just after the Jug End Wildlife Management Area.  There is one mile-long portion of dirt road followed by flat to rolling rural terrain.
