International Skating Center of Connecticut, 1375 Hopmeadow Street
(Route 10 & 202) in Simsbury near the Wagner car dealership
Ride Description:
This 100-miler travels over mostly flat to rolling terrain on both
sides of the Connecticut River.
Amongst the towns and villages visited are Simsbury, the Granbys,
Suffield, Enfield, Somers, Ellington, the Windsors and a sortie into
Southwick, Massachusetts. Lunch
will be at the gazebo in Ellington Green. Although there is an elevation gain/loss of 2800 feet
during the ride, that really isn't a lot when stretched over the ride's
length. This route is pretty
mellow – a relatively easy Century ride.
