Starting Location:  Commons Shopping Plaza, Jct. Rtes 4 & 69, Burlington, CT

NOTE: Park away from entrances to businesses.

 

Special Directions:  From Hartford and east, take I-84 to Exit 39 and follow Conn. Rte. 4 west through Farmington and Unionville to Burlington. Burlington Commons is on the north side of Rte. 4, at the top of a 2 ½ mile hill, at the junction with Conn. Rte. 69.

From Torrington and west, take Conn. Rte 8 to Exit 42 and follow Conn. east to Conn. Rte 4 east through Harwinton to Burlington. Burlington Commons is on the north side of Rte. 4, at the junction with Conn. Rte. 69.

From Bristol, take Conn. Rte 69 north to Conn. Rte 4. Burlington Commons is on the north side of Rte. 4, at the end of Conn. Rte. 69.

 

Ride Description: This is a rural, hilly ride on back roads through western Hartford County and eastern Litchfield County. There are no facilities on the route; bring plenty of water and nourishment.
