Starting Location: Rt. 9 Exit 9 CPL (Rt.148) in Chester
Ride Description: This very interesting and somewhat hilly
ride uses mostly state roads while traveling from Chester up to Hebron via
the Haddam swing-bridge, Moodus and Westchester before heading back to
Chester through Colchester, Devil's Hopyard State Park, Hadlyme and the
Chester ferry ($2.00). The state roads are great for biking with smooth
surfaces, wide shoulders and modest auto traffic. Additionally, there is
some interesting back road riding.
