Starting Location:  Rt. 9 Exit 9 CPL (Rt. 148) in Chester

 

Ride Description:  This is a very mellow ride that travels to Old Saybrook on mostly back roads w/ just a tad of state road riding (wide bike lanes).  En route to a lunch stop or snack break @ Saybrook Point, the ride visits Cornfield Point and makes a circuit of Fenwick.  After the lunch/snack break stop, there will be some riding along Rt. 154 and Rt. 1, again w/ wide bike lanes.  This is a very nice ride over flat to rolling terrain between Chester and Old Saybrook w/ extensive views of the shoreline.
