Niantic/Waterford/New London Wanderings (short version)

Starting Location:  Niantic Center School, Rt. 156 (W. Main St.) in Niantic located about two miles east of the intersection of the Rocky Neck Connector (I-95 Exit 72) and Rt. 156.

 

Ride Description:  This is a lovely ride through portions of Niantic, Waterford and New London over mostly flat terrain.  The ride visits Black Point, the entrance to the Millstone Nuclear Power Station, the Seaside Regional Center (Connecticut Dept of Mental Retardation) now closed, Harkness State Park and Fort Trumbull State Park (good lunch/snack stop).
