The Hammock Point Ride

Starting Location:  I-95 Exit 62 (Hammonasset State Park exit) in Madison (no CPL here); park on Duck Hole Road (street sign) beside the chain link fence.

 

Ride Description:  This is a ride over flat to rolling terrain with a few modest hills along the way.  The ride travels through seldom visited sections of Madison, passes Messerschmidt Pond in Westbrook as the route heads for Pilots Point Marina for a possible lunch or snack break.  On the return the route visits Hammock Point for an unusual view of Clinton Harbor.  There are many exceptional inland and shoreline views on this ride.
