Ride Description:  Appropriately named ride that travels through 10 towns on both sides of the CT River, resulting in a map route that looks similar to a bat profile. The ride starts in Essex before traveling west to Ivorytown and onto some nice quiet rolling roads through Killingworth and Haddam. Cross the CT River via the Goodspeed Swing Bridge into East Haddam. Expect some nice steady climbing into Moodus before dropping down to the Devils Hopyard and the beautiful Hopyard Road, and continuing onto nice countryside roads in Salem and Lyme. The ride again crosses the CT River in Old Lyme by crossing the Baldwin Bridge alongside I-95, and a then back to the parking via some quiet riverside cove roads.
