Starting Location (city/town):  Branford

 

Starting Location (detailed directions to):  Stony Creek Brewery parking lot @ 5 Indian Neck Avenue.  Use I-95 Exit 54 (Cedar St); go south on Cedar for 0.25 miles and cross Rt. 1 @ traffic light; continue on Cedar for 0.47 mi to SS @ Main St; turn right on Main and go 0.15 mi.; turn left on Kirtland St and go 0.22 mi. and cross above RR tracks; becomes Maple street after RR track crossing; in 0.11 mi. turn left @ TL on Indian Neck Ave; turn R in 0.19 mi. into Stony Creek Brewery parking area to the right of the brewery.    

 

Ride Description:  This is a ride over mostly mellow terrain with a few hilly (but short) sections mostly in north Guilford.  There is a variety of viewsnot only of the Sound but also of woodlands and farming country.  The ride visits the Monastery of Our Lady of Grace in north Guilford before heading back to the shoreline while passing through the center of Guilford and Guilford Green.
