Starting Location:  I-95 Exit 64 CPL (Rt. 145/Horsehill Road) in Westbrook

 

Ride Description:  This is a ride over mostly rolling terrain in Westbrook, Clinton, and Ivoryton, providing extensive views of Long Island Sound.  After a climb past Messerschmidt Pond, enjoy lunch under the gazebo on the Ivoryton Green.

There are two places to buy lunch in Ivoryton (as of July 2010).

 

Aggies Family Restaurant, which closes at noon on weekends and 2 p.m. on weekdays.

 

The Ivoryton Tavern CafŽ is open all day long.

 

Both are located on Summit St., across from the Green.
