Starting Location (city/town):  Simsbury, Ct.

 

Starting Location (detailed directions to):  International Skating Center of Ct.  Rt. 10/202 just north of the Rt. 315 intersection in the northern part of Simsbury.

 

Ride Description:  This is an interesting ride which utilizes the northern sections of the Farmington Valley Greenway paved rail trail and surrounding scenic back roads. The ride passes by farms and fields and goes to Lake Congamond in Southwick, Ma. for a picturesque lunch stop. It meanders through the extensive grounds of Imperial Nurseries on the return trip. There are 10.7 miles of paved trail on this ride.
