Starting Location (detailed directions to):  Kent Post Office parking lot; take Rt. 7 north from intersection w/ Rt. 341 in Kent; turn right into Kent Shopping Village immediately after crossing RR tracks to the post office. 

 

Ride Description:  This ride tours the Harlem Valley of Duchess County in New York including the villages of Millerton and Amenia.  It features a 2.5 mile ride through Macedonia Brook State Park (dirt road), an 8.2 mile ride along the Harlem Valley Rail Trail (good spot for a lunch stop) and a 4.2 mile dirt road ride through the Schaghticoke Indian Reservation (long ride only).
