Killer Hills:           None; however, there are lengthy climbs up Huckleberry Hill Rd (starts @ 7.1 mi.) as well as to the entrance to Nepaug Reservoir and Dam (starts @ 14.0 mi.).

Starting Location (city/town):  Farmington

 

Starting Location (detailed directions to):  Tunxis Meade Park.  From Rt. 4 in Farmington center, go south on Rt. 10 approximately 1 mile past Miss Porter's School.  At 2nd traffic light, go right on Meadow Rd; continue for about 1 mile and go straight at fork on Red Oak Hill Rd; go right after about ¼ mile on access road into Tunxis Meade Park.  Parking lot is next to ball field in about ¼ mile. 

 

Ride Description:  A picturesque ride over mostly rolling terrain through Avon and Farmington with a grand tour of quaint Collinsville, featuring visits to the Nepaug Reservoir, the Farmington Valley Greenway and Farmington River Trails with many water views.
