Killer Hills:           One short, sharp hill at ~ 12.6 miles on Barndoor Hills Rd near stables

Starting Location (detailed directions to):  Weatogue CPL, Rt. 10/202 in Simsbury about 200 yards north of Rt. 185 intersection 

 

Ride Description:  This very pleasant ride travels through the towns of Simsbury, Granby and Avon over rolling terrain using mostly back roads.  There are, however, a few miles on state roads that have a smooth surface and a wide shoulder.  The ride passes through mostly rural areas with views of forests, farms, State Park land and residential areas.  There are occasional convenience stores and markets along the way where food and beverages can be purchased if your supplies run low.
