Ride
Description: This is an ideal
spring warm-up ride over mostly flat terrain through three counties in two
states. The ride derives its
name from four of the five towns visited (East Windsor, Enfield, East
Longmeadow and Ellington) and the bonus town is Somers. The Somers Recreational Area or the
Ellington Green are ideal spots for a rest/snack/lunch break. Amongst the sights along the way are
landscape nursery farms, dairy farms, tobacco farms and drying barns, crop
farms, Xmas tree farms, horse farms, a berry farm, several golf courses and
the Four Town Fairgrounds...a veritable plethora of delightful sights.
