Starting Location (detailed directions to):  Woodstock Town Hall parking lot (to your right), east side of Rt. 169 while heading north approx. 0.4 miles north of intersection w/ Rt. 171 

 

Ride Description:  This is an especially scenic ride that tours through the Quiet Corner of Connecticut while visiting the towns of Woodstock, Eastford, Ashford, Hampton and Pomfret on mostly back country roads with sparse traffic.  Amongst other interesting scenes are those of farms, orchards, a winery, a Christmas tree farm, state forests, ponds & lakes, streams, stone walls, cemeteries, preparatory schools, historic structures & districts and much, much more.  Although hilly, the ride has significant redeeming values and you will be well-rewarded for your effort.  This ride is a keeper!
