The Chester to Moodus to Devil's Hopyard to Chester (via ferry) Ride

Starting Location:  Rt. 9 Exit 9 CPL (Rt. 148) in Chester

 

Ride Description:  This is a neat ride over somewhat hilly terrain through some seldom traveled sections of East Haddam (cross the Connecticut River via the East Haddam swing-bridge) en route to a possible lunch/snack stop at Devil's Hopyard (no place to purchase food at the Hopyard).  On the return trip the route uses the ferry ($2.00) to re-cross the Connecticut River.
