Ride Description:  This ride passes over mostly rolling terrain with a few serious hills interspersed in the far western end of Connecticut and southeastern Duchess County in New York.  It features visits to a covered bridge over the Housatonic River, a pass-through of the Schaghticoke Indian Reservation, a visit to the Kent School campus, and the quaint village of Kent.  This is a real "back roads" ride.

Note 1: This ride has a 27-mile option that is noted on the ride sheet.

Note 2: There are some fairly hilly sections on this ride (both at the beginning and again at the end) which (when combined with several lengthy flat sections in mid-ride) average the ride into the Rolling to Hilly Degree of Difficulty category.  Thus, while the average suggests one thing, the rider should be prepared for something tougher.  Be advisedand prepared.
