Starting Location:  Tri-Town Plaza @ intersection of Rt. 83 & Kelly Rd in Vernon

 

Special Directions:  From I-84 East, take Exit 64 - 65. Stay to the left on all choices on the exit ramp. At traffic light turn left onto Rt. 83 and quickly turn right into Tri-Town Plaza.  Park in front of Staples (to the right).

 

Ride Description:  This is a very pleasant ride along back roads in South Windsor, East Windsor and Ellington.  It is over mostly rolling terrain and features views of several types of agricultural land usage, including shrub nurseries, tobacco fields and dairy farms.  A good lunch stop is at Ellington Green, where food can be purchased.
