Starting Location: Canton Village Shopping Plaza,

Village Shopping Plaza is ½ mile west of the Rt. 177 intersection
w/ Rt. 44. Look for McDonald's. Ride Description:
This is a nice countryside ride on somewhat hilly and varied
terrain through Canton, Burlington, Avon, Simsbury and
Collinsville. It passes
forested and farm land and has nice views of the Farmington River. There are a couple of hilly
sections. Though
considerably past mid-ride, Stratton Brook State Park is an excellent
spot for a lunch/snack break.
There is an option for a
shorter ride of 16.6 miles. At mile 16.6, turn left off Dowd Ave. into
the Canton Village Shopping Plaza and go through parking lot to
