Ride
Description: This short ride
starts and ends at Sleeping Giant State Park. While the route uses busy Rt. 10 for about ½ mile
both going and coming, most of the ride is on quiet back roads with
interesting farm land and forested views. At mile cue 4.8 it passes the Blue Hills Farm with its
farm stand --- available during the growing season. There is one very difficult (and dangerous) turn at mile
cue 8.3 when turning off Rt. 10 onto Mt. Carmel Road at the traffic
light. Be very careful making
this turn.
