Niantic Bay Bicycles; takeI-95 Exit 74, Rt. 161 south to its end at
a traffic light; turn right on Rt. 156; take the next right (after crossing
RR tracks) on Methodist St; bike shop is on the left; park opposite the shop
on street parking.
Ride
Description: This is a flat
ride around the Black Point section of Niantic, over the Niantic River Bridge
and up the east side of the river looping through the Oswegatchie area of
Waterford. There are spectacular
views of the Sound, salt marshes, the Niantic River and the up-scale homes at
the Black Point (Niantic) and Oswegatchie (Waterford) locales.
