Sandy's Salisbury to Lime Rock Ride

Starting Location:  Scoville Library parking lot, Rt. 44 & Library Street in Salisbury (just beyond the Rt. 41 intersection heading west on Rt. 44) 

 

Ride Description:  This ride features spectacular mountain and valley views, and beautiful river stretches. Follow gentle, rolling paved roads with a few moderate down hills and several moderately difficult climbs. Highlights include Bartholomew's Cobble Nature Preserve, Beckley Furnace, and the Pfizer Limestone Quarry.

Col. Ashley House: In 1735, young John Ashley designed and built a handsomely crafted house for himself and his new wife - a house that for years would be considered the finest in Sheffield. Open Memorial Day to Columbus Day.
